An initiative aimed at decentralizing journalism and breaking down the global information disparity. Inspired by Food Not Bombs, the goal of Autonomous News is to facilitate the creation of worldwide grassroots journalism chapters through a small set of consistent principles. The benefit of this is that almost anyone with internet access can get started, and together we can build a larger network of information which bypasses the filter of corporate news conglomerates.
